Celebrating June - Month of Weddings- Barbie Royal Wedding Collector Giftset- Duke & Duchess of Cambridge bridal giftset. Prince William/ Kate Middleton dolls 

I had older photos but thought I would take some new. I had duplicate dolls of this giftset , where I had put Kate's head on a fashion royalty body a few years ago, but alas, had to sell those two from my collection when I was in need of funds. I truly regret selling them now, as I would love to have my nude Prince William and Princess Kate back to do dioramas with- she has some stunning fashions lately since the coronation - also since they have been elevated to Prince and Princess of Wales!

Welcome June- Month of Brides

June is here- month of weddings and brides. I am hoping to do bridal photos and different themed photos this month of brides and different dolls in bridesmaids dresses, bridal gowns, etc. 

My reproduction Barbie and Ken wedding set is something I found on sale back in the day at Tuesday Morning, I adore this set and my aunt had the real vintage gown when she was a girl. On my grail list is the vintage Barbie and Ken case with the wedding party on the front and the Skipper flower girl complete set and the Midge bridesmaid set complete. I am hoping to take some photos of my other bridal gowns I have on the other dolls, to add to this blog. June is such a beautiful month with weddings. 

 

Poppy Parker in the Morning...

In my quest to give more photo time to dolls that are unloved on the shelf, this doll is part of a Poppy Parker- Ginger Gilroy duo. At some point this Poppy had lavender heels that I have misplaced , I will find them probably in the dollhouse or in my box of shoes. I have never redressed either of this set because I was so captivated by both of their old world cocktail gowns. Here she is having a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. 

 

Vintage Heart Family Surprise Mom Doll

I had purchased a lot of vintage Heart Family Mom dolls but haven't had much time to do individual photo shoots with them. I did do some research on what dolls they were, and the one in the yellow dress came from the Deluxe Surprise Heart Family giftset with a mom, dad, and a baby for a surprise party. This doll did not come with her shoes and the dress needs a little TLC. I paired her with my most recent purchase of a Mini-Brands Zuru baby in its yellow baby blanket, and she looks quite adorable.

I have been attempting to take more photos of dolls that have not been getting alot of camera time or love. So each day I go to the shelves and pick out dolls that have been somewhat forlorn, or forgotten by me and do some photo time and post them on my facebook page or my instagram. One that is neglected and is very lovely is my White Diamonds Elizabeth Taylor doll.
