La Dame Aux Caniches Fashion Set

This weekend I was able to get photos of this Lottery W club fashion set,

"La Dame Aux Caniches" which came in a beautiful box, with a poodle, jewelry, headpiece, circus ball handbag, shoes, outfit. I am so glad I went for this fashion set even though it was a little pricey, $110.00 , because it is so detailed and well made. I have the outfit modeled in these photos on my W Club Pink Lemonade Poppy Parker doll. With the pink hair, she has that 'circus' vibe and the outfit is adorable on her.

The pearl crown/ headdress does not sit properly on her head, so that is a drawback. This outfit came with some weird little feet gold things that I could  not figure out if they went on her legs or her arms?? and two gold stud earrings-but while taking them out of the package I accidently dropped one and I am still looking for it around my desk. (EYEROLL HERE...) I am such a clutz with these tiny things...

The set also comes with this adorable pink poodle that has a dogbone on its collar, that is also attached to her circus ball handbag! Just too adorable!

I have taken a variety of photos of Poppy in front of the Christmas tree because the soft lights and pink ornaments highlight these outfits on these dolls.

I hope you have enjoyed these photos the my newest dolls!

Le Maitre de Piste Cruz Clark doll Photos

I finally have photos of Le Maitre de Piste Cruz Clark doll de-boxed and fully dressed now! He is a handsome Homme and I love his accessories. His boots were easier to slip on than I thought they would be.

I have shown him here with his black gloved hands, he comes with three pairs of hands, one looks like black gloves, which you see here. The other two are regular hands. He has a very handsome profile, with graying hair, which will make him a very desirable doll for alot of people.

He also comes with with his lion headed staff/ cane which is impressive, but his stand is not the best. It has a flimsy plastic top that screws onto the long pole.
He also comes with a top hat with side feather.

I have included photos of him standing in front of L'Aeriliste Poppy Parker, they make an impressive pair.

I will have more photos of the de-boxed fashion for you tomorrow, these three lottery items are so wonderful.

Doll Estate sale and thrifting today

Today I attended the Doll and Miniature estate sale of Harriet and Larry Garnett who were active in the Va. Miniature Enthusiasts and N.A.M.E. (Larry and Harriet were founding members back in the 1970's of National American Miniature Enthusiasts) and Harriet was a member of the Dorothy Coleman Doll Club that I now belong to. I used to be a member of the Va. Miniature Enthusiasts many years ago, and Larry and Harriet were great mentors to me starting out. I went to elementary school here in Lakeside with their younger daughter Valerie, so it was a bittersweet oppurtunity to attend this sale. I was able to purchase a couple of books and an adorable Madame Alexander doll.

The Madame Alexander doll is an Ana McGuffy doll, she has the cutest face which I hope to use in a diorama scene with my Gene dolls. The two books were on my list to acquire, I have been to the Williamsburg Abby Aldrich Rockefeller museum and have seen this dollhouse, it is amazing. I am still working on deboxing the W Club dolls that are remaining so I will have more to blog soon.

LAeriliste Poppy Parker Lottery Doll

As promised, here are some photos of L'Aeriliste Poppy Parker Lottery doll, de-boxed.  This doll is a doll that takes alot of time due to her stand. I am not very satisfied with her stand as it is a little wobbly and has a flaw in it- which I am NOT pleased with considering the amount of money I paid for her.  Her stand is a 'ring' stand that needs to be assembled and one hole of the signage is drilled a wee bit too large for the nut ring that goes into it that holds the ring chain assemblage, so it will require me to 'fill' it . :(  Otherwise, she is one of the most lovelier Poppies and reminds me of the Jamieshow and Inamourata resin sculpts, she is simply lovely. Here are some quick photos of her last night.

I may take the stand apart and start all over again to see if I can tighten it correctly, and it is not that stable in my opinion. Hopefully, I will have some photos of the Ringmaster Cruz Clark for you tomorrow.
