New Large & small cakes in my Etsy shop!

I have been working hard on items for the Etsy shop and mass producing these 1:6 scale miniature large and small cakes. I will also be selling these at the Fashion Royalty convention this year in Florida in October at the Sales event, so stop by! I will have a large variety of colors and items to choose from.

Large cakes ($14.99) measure about 1 1/2 inch across with 2 cake slices and 1 paper doily, small cakes ($9.99) measure 1 5/8 inch across with 1 cake slice and 1 paper doily included.

New Halloween goodies in my Etsy shop!

I have finished a  few items that I finally managed to upload to my Etsy shop Pumpkin Hill Studios . I have also almost finished the haunted room diorama to showcase all of these wonderful items. Check back to my Etsy store frequently as these items are selling faster than I can upload /make them- and many times I do not make more than one or two, depending on supply. All of my Etsy shop items come with free shipping in the USA.

1:6 scale book, carved jack o' lantern, crystal ball with decorated base, burned out candle with drippings, leather book with aged blank pages, paper book and aged stack of papers tied with black ribbon.

1:6 scale miniature pumpkin carving prep board set. Has hollowed out pumpkin with 'seeds' inside, lid with stalk, pumpkin pulp and seeds are glued to the wooden board, and 1 spoon with pumpkin pulp on it.

1:6 scale Pumpkin Chocolate cake with two slices cut out. Includes round and square golden doilies. Cake is cut and each slice has a chocolate swirl stick on top. Cake is decorated with chocolate pumpkins and swirl sticks.

The Addams family giftset...

Haven't posted much as I have been working on several things - such as my Halloween/fall foods and a special diorama to showcase them in. I was really influenced by the diorama that Mattel built for the Haunted Beauty Ghost doll. I always regret missing out on that doll, she is so lovely- I love my Haunted beauty vampire . Can hardly wait for Mistress of the Manor!

I have had the Addams family giftset for some time, but never found the time to debox this set. The diorama set is almost done, it has a few more finishing touches. Once I start, I can't stop adding to it on the wall detail. I decided that these two dolls would be perfect to see if I had the proper mood I wanted on the diorama, and I was right.

Right now it is rough, I still need to do some work on the framing of the windows, and adding ragged curtains and some pictures on the walls. Morticia and Gomez are classic and add to the gothic Victorian mood I was going for in the decor.  I customized this Bespaq Victorian tea table a long time ago by aging it and adding the spider webs. The red velvet Blood cake has already been sold in my Etsy shop. I will be adding some more halloween themed foods and prep boards to the shop either tomorrow or this week, after I get those pictures ready.

Victoire's Tea and pastry table...

I used today putting the finishing touches on a buffet table for my Chateau project. My Victoire dolls have not had much love lately, so I used Evening in Montreal Victoire to display her. The table has been built for my Marie Antoinette and Louis, to replicate their dining in public scenes from the movie. As well as all of those delicious pastry scenes when she and her friends are pigging out after being fitted for extravagant gowns and shoes. Man, what a life.

New Charlotte Cherry cakes in my Etsy store!

I have some new Charlotte Cherry cakes in my Etsy shop Pumpkin Hill Studios in two scales- 1:6 and 1:4, both with free shipping in the USA. These turned out lovely so I am thinking of making variations of them with other kinds of fruits. Both come with their own doily and red silk ribbon tied around them.

New miniature foods listed in my Etsy shop!

I have listed more miniature foods in my Etsy shop (link is above this blog post in the Etsy widget, click on it) namely, three new 1:6 scale bread boards. All of them are different, and each comes with a wooden bread board , stained. Each are priced at $10 with free shipping in the USA. 

I also have moved into larger doll scales of foods and am having alot of fun creating in 1:4 & 1:3 scales. 1:4 scale is generally for dolls that I consider too slim/small for the 1:3 scale foods, such as Sybarites, Tonner dolls, Avant Guards, Ficon bjd, Inamorata fashion dolls, and slim bodied fashion dolls- their hands are far too small to look in correct scale next to 1:3 scale foods. The exception would be MSD sized bjd's who are meant to look like young children and not adults, both scales would fit them. 1:3 scale is generally for dolls such as My Twinn, American Girl, Our Generation, antique dolls, SD & MSD sized bjd's (dolls measuring 18-24 inches in height.) I am also experimenting with creating foods for dolls 68-72 cm bjd's who more or less are 'larger' slightly than 1:3 .  For now, I will post some pictures here of the larger scale items in 1:3 & 1:4 that are listed in the Etsy shop now. 

*NOTES to my Customers!  
I will probably not be listing any of my miniature foods any longer on Ebay either on auction or in my Ebay store unless it is s a special auction listing. For now, the store has no auctions or listings on Buy it nows at all, the ebay store is empty. One reason is eBay is not a viable place for me with its insane fees and restrictions and feedback policies on its sellers. I will be listing my miniature food items at reasonable prices on Etsy from here on in. Some large scale food items such as the 1:3 scale items may not have free shipping due to size and weight and they need to be packed securely to guard against damage, as well as obviously it takes more product, time and materials to create realistic foods in this scale. I will still be doing commissions, which are currently open.
