Before I do a blog posts on the new holiday barbies I purchased yesterday from Oddball's Collectibles, on Friday I had a doll that I had ordered on Mercari arrive in the mail- Happy Holidays Barbie 2012. I had previously ordered this doll from another seller about two weeks ago, but then the seller backed out on the sale and canceled - in a way I am glad as that box was damaged and she was asking $14+ shipping and handling, but the new seller I found this doll was offering an intact box for a couple of dollars more and the box had no damage. Boxes with damage can always mean missing shoes, accessories, etc. The thing that surprised me about this issue was when I opened her there was no stand. A few holiday dolls came with no stand, in the 2000's , so it is hit and miss as to which one you open. Later today I will be opening 2005 and 2010 to do blog posts for these dolls and I am hoping they have stands. She has adorable open toed red heels and there was a cardboard insert in her skirt that I left in there that helps hold her tulle and satin dress out wide. I love the silver embroidery on her dress. She is a really lovely doll. I will be posting more later. You can view more photos on my doll instagram - dollhouseheaven and my My Flicker albums
