Happy Easter!

We have some beautiful wild little spring flowers that pop up in the grasses in our yard when spring comes, which gave me an idea for an Easter photo with the lavender haired Moods Poppy this year. I never know what to do with her and Easter with its pastels seemed like the perfect time to dress her up with that candy colored hair.

I thought this photo of my lavender haired Poppy amongst the little purple flowers that grow wild this time of year was enchanting, especially just before Easter.

And now here she is with Mr. Bunny, having tea...

Happy Easter!

I think that dress is the perfect shade of blue for Spring/Easter - it's a little reminiscent of bird's eggs, isn't it? And I love the little bunny sitting at the table - that's too cute. :)

This is one of myfavorite dresses that Robert Best did for the silkstones- Market Day. She was dressed with a big hat and a basket tote with french bread adn flowers, very spring like. I adore that silkie. I still have her and she dresses up cute in anything. This little bubble skirt dress in that robin's egg blue with the lavender matches Poppy's hair perfectly. It also meshed with her pink tights and silver heels quite well too. She looks like candy in this picture.

I bought up a bunch of them when they went on sale at walmart to make into bistro tables for my pastry shop. I have a couple of sets spray painted black and they look gorgeous in black. I have about three sets I think I haven't done yet. (I had big plans for the shop) I had wanted to do another little cafe so I thought white for the pastry shop and black for the cafe. You can still find them on ebay with free shipping.

Glad you had a nice Easter. We were very busy hosting a student from Japan for a week. She just went home yesterday. We shared our Easter with her -- it was so nice!
