This blog shows the progress of my 1:6 scale dollhouse, Maison de la Royale and the various projects I work on with my dolls and dollhouse collection.

Broadway Magic Jem & the HOlograms for sale
I have just listed my Broadway Magic Jem and the Holograms doll with stage on Ebay a day or two ago. Item has never been removed from its box except to check the doll and the stage has never been taken out of its packaging, still factory sealed. I am asking $332 for it plus shipping, which will be minimal if you are in the USA, I also will insure it at my own expense and item requires signature confirmation.
I am also thinking of selling my purity dasha w club exclusive FR2 doll nude, so if you are interested, you can Email me if you are interested. I am not that hooked on her and she is still in her box untouched.
Below are some photos of Jem

Merry Christmas to all!
I would love to thank all of you who follow my blog and for all of your interest in my dollhouse. I started this blog a few years ago when I purchased this dollhouse for myself, at the same time I opened my doll and dollhouse miniature shop King William Miniatures. I never thought there would be so very much interest in a 1:6 scale 'Barbie' dollhouse, but there was as I created, and decorated for the dollhouse. With the storyline of the cast of characters, it is only natural the dollhouse should reside in a town and more dioramas and famillies should come to live in the One Sixth Scale dollhouse. So thank you to all- I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Have a Happy New Year!
And now a few pics from the archives of last year, when the doll town inhabitants did a re-enactment of the Nativity for their local church.

"..and the angel said to them, Fear Not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
'For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
'And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger....'
"And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger."

Merry Christmas Dolls!
Merry Christmas everyone! Here it is Christmas Eve...this post may be a tad different than yesterday's! For One, I deboxed Jack Sparrow, aka Johnny Depp. My dolls were quite insistent that such a hottie should not sit on the shelf condemned to a ridiculous pirate outfit. So I thought it would be fun to have some 'fun' with Jack, and he willingly obliged. Who couldn't resist Johnny Depp even in doll pirate makeup? I know I couldn't!
Enjoy the Christmas hottie! Jack is reclining in my rare no longer manufactured Bespaq bedroom suite in the main dollhouse- Maison de la Royale, which belongs to my no. 1 doll Agnes Von Weiss (Concerto in M) who hasn't found her Christmas present yet!
Teacup is Rement, vase, found in a souvenir shop. Cat is from a miniature store. I made the little Christmas bag on the table.

day 23....Merry Christmas Laura!
I did this diorama very quickly, as I have been tagged by so many of my friends on Flickr with cute doll Christmas pics. It was one that has been on my list, so I broke down this evening and recreated it with odds and ends.
The photo is from 'On the Banks of Plum Creek' by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and tells of Laura and her family going to church after Pa comes home from working in the East. And, there, Laura sees a Christmas tree with presents hanging from its branches for the first time! Not only that, but most wonderful of all...there is a small fur cape and muff! Better than that, they are given to Laura off the tree!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas time! Merry Christmas!

Here is the picture below that I attempted to recreate from the book. I admit to taking a bit of license with it, to make the story appear more real with the dolls from the text.
Replicating this scene was a little special to me, as I could imagine Laura's pure joy at receiving something so wonderful and unexpected that she wanted so much! It is the simple things in life that make us happy...and after so much sorrow and hardship, loss, the Ingalls ended up having a wonderful, full Christmas that year. I myself feel this year like I know how they felt, just a little bit. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas time! Merry Christmas!

Day 22...Merry Christmas to me!
I have been feeling a little under the weather, so yesterday decided to go do some retail therapy. I also started working on the Boulangerie /French bakery in the doll town too.
Retail therapy began at Tuesday Morning. I was really looking for another Disney Princess teatable set, but found a Barbie Basics The Look doll for 14.99...I have been wanting her for a while now.

I love her! I also found the cute little soap/vanity dish for 4.99 that will make a modern cafe serving tray/cart in the bakery. The 2nd shelf can hold extra plates, flatware, cups and the bottom can be for dirty dishes. The top can be where the waitress puts down her tray to serve.
It looks just right standing next to Poppy Lisa. Can hardly wait to get it all set up.
As I said, I did some work on the Disney Princess set. Here it is in all its ugly pink and purple glory.
Now, repainted black with spray paint. I need about three more of these sets they are wonderful sized and look elegant painted in either white or black. I had thought about doing a verdigris, but will wait and see.
Looks so very a la francais, non? The short 1:12 scale wire rack is a Sonia Messner rack I have a few of, that will be filled with small baskets, breads, jars, etc and hang on the wall behind the counters, I have a couple of these that will hang inside. I need to make some wall art and decide the layout, I am thinking of creating my own counter for the register, etc. I have one Rement bakery case but that is in LaBelle's right now, I might purchase another on ebay.
Hopefully this project will be done by Valentine's day so I can fill it up with sweets and candy!

Advent: Days 19-20.......
Advent today is for yesterday 12/19 and today 12/20. I have been playing catch up in a big way and starting to clean out storage bins, so I have been listing, listing, listing on ebay to beat the band. Many of these listings are past issues of American Miniaturist, Dollhouse Miniature Magazine, Miniature Collector magazines, of which I have a HUGE collection that needs to move on, as well as a large selection of books. Click HERE to shop for those deals on these books and magazines with free shipping, they are priced to move!
But back to Advent photos. The town has not received any love lately as my heart is just not into it. I have very little patience these days and only occasionally toy with pictures on the dolls for a moments fun.
These photos were taken with just the shop backlights on, I would like to get more small low lights to light the town better for night photos.

Days of Advent- Catching up again- Days 15-18
This year it seems like I am constantly playing catch-up, not only in my dolly world projects but real life day to day as well. Like, whose idea was it to put Christmas----in DECEMBER?? LOL...I was and still am not prepared for Christmas. Part of me just doesn't have the fa la la la thing going on this year, and I am not really thrilled one way or the other.
So today is catch up with the advent photos, 15 thru day 18 today! Enjoy!
Day 18
That is Dixie and Poppy adjusting the ornaments on the tree so they are just right. I haven't been giving Dixie & her co-hort Maizie much camera time, and they are not happy about it since the fashion dolls have been getting all the camera attention lately.
