Happy Hinamatsuri Day!

Hinamatsuri, celebrated on the third day of the third month in Japan, is also known as the Girls' day festival as well as the Doll Festival. Special ceremonial dolls, usually handed down from generation to generation, are taken out and displayed for this festival marking a girls' coming of age in Japan.

Here Miss Happiness is setting up the display, so she and Miss Flower can have their special tea. Miss Happiness is a hybrid doll- Barbie Basics head transplanted on a LIV doll body for articulation. Display is the Re-ment Hinamatsuri display.

Enjoy the photos!
