I have been somewhat bummed since last year on my Silkstone Barbie part of my doll collection. Last year around this time I had to sell off some of my dolls to pay some medical bills and other bills off. We were going thru a tight time. Some of my lovelies had to go. I have since purchased a few more, but decided last night to take some of the Silkstones down and let them have Barbietown to themselves for strolling, and shopping- since they do it so well.

Hello from Spain: too bad you had to sell some of your collection of Barbies. I pray that you're better of your health problems., I love to see your barbies shopping . That city is awesome. Keep in touch
thank you Marta. Last year I had medical bills from 2011? I think it was. I am an epileptic and had a couple of seizures. But it is expensive as all hospitals are, so I had to get that bill taken care of so it would not interfere with our regular budget. Hubby is supportive and said I would be buying new dolls so it was both sad, but both win too- new dolls later! I am back to collecting silkstones again, didn't sell all of the silkies, just the ones in the boxes. I may buy a couple of them later nude on ebay, the older ones.
They seemed to have a wonderful time shopping there. Are medical stays crazy expensive? I'm glad you are doing better all around.
Since I have epilepsy, seizures aren't that unusual, even though my medications I take control it. This one time however, I had seizures in the space of a few hours, so they thought there might be something more serious wrong- so they do alot of tests, such as cat scans, xrays, bloodwork. That is what drove the bill up so high. I was able to get the bill down with the sale of the excess dolls, and make room for more.
And yes, I'm doing better now. I've begun a walking/exercise regime and it really helps, since I need to get my weight under control.
