Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July- and celebrating our 250th celebration of America's historic milestone- 1776 to 2026! I remember as a child in 1976 being taken to Williamsburg, Virginia at the age of 11 years old to visit the 'Freedom Train" that traveled the United States with all sorts of memoriabilia - the dress Judy Garland wore in Wizard of Oz, and one of the pairs of the Ruby Red Slippers, Will Chamberlain's sneakers, and other items too, that had to do with sports and movies, but also historic items as well. It overwhelmed as a kid. My husband and I went all out to decorate this year on the house, with red, white and blue bunting and little flags next to the greyhound statues The house really looked nice this year.

For our table decor, we are using our Staffordshire Liberty Blue Independence Hall plates and the Paul Revere teacups and saucers. I am still working on getting the bowls, and bread and butter plates. This set has different scenes on each plate, etc. The teacup saucers have the Old North Church on them. I purchased the navy blue napkins and tablecloth off of Ebay, as well as the rhinestone flag napkin rings. The flag placemats and runner I got off of Poshmark, they were really a lucky lot find.

i had already shared the Fourth of July photos of our June / fourth of july doll club meeting, and we had some fabulous doll red white and blue photos from that meeting!
Here is one of my favorites- Linda's Uncle Sam with her 250 eagle plate!
