Mini Brands Krispy Kreme Donuts #4

Arctic temperatures , snow and ice have swept across the United States and have hit us here in Virginia, so in preparation with the usual supplies of ice melt, wood, propane, food, water and other supplies, I made a list of crafts and things I wanted to get done that I have had no time to do in my idle moments. One of those things was this recent Mini Brands Krispy Kreme Donut rounds. I am not fond of the ones that are 'craft' projects like these and I had to look up some YouTube videos to see how people put them together. Weird I know, this - coming from an experienced miniature food artist. To be honest, I found some of the materials a little tricky to work with so if you buy these, get some paper towels, have a moist towel nearby and some toothpicks to touch the product to see if it dries. I had some hiccups with mine, but it turned out OK, nothing to write home about. These cups are perfect for 12- 16 inch dolls like Ann Fitzpatrick and Marley Wentworth, Tyler Wentworth and Gene Marshall and Trent. They might be a little large for Barbie and Ken and Fashion Royalty, but in a pinch they could pass. 

              This is misleading- this is NOT the one I got, it's to show you and example of kind of craft you will be doing with the product. 

What I got when I opened the package-

Mine was #4 so I got a cup, a donut box, a donut bag, a creme filled blank donut,

tongs, whipped cream with nozzle, mini chocolate drizzle, mini caramel stuff to go ontop of the donut and in the cup. The 'hat' is actually a UV light that you dry the items with in between and the paper item on the right are the directions.

The books and teacup to the right are also a Mini Brands book covered in another blog post from last year- the flowers were purchased at a craft bazaar, and the statue is from Michael's mini section during Halloween on sale.  Table is

Vintage Heart Family Surprise Mom Doll

I had purchased a lot of vintage Heart Family Mom dolls but haven't had much time to do individual photo shoots with them. I did do some research on what dolls they were, and the one in the yellow dress came from the Deluxe Surprise Heart Family giftset with a mom, dad, and a baby for a surprise party. This doll did not come with her shoes and the dress needs a little TLC. I paired her with my most recent purchase of a Mini-Brands Zuru baby in its yellow baby blanket, and she looks quite adorable. 

 

Mini Brands- My Mini Baby 5 Surprise!

I was in Walmart over the weekend and found the Mini Brands My Mini Baby 5 Surprise! that Grandma Gets Real  had posted about on her Instagram and her Facebook posts. These adorable little infants come with five items, including tiny little velcro panties, and usually some toddler piece of furniture/ equipment. I purchased mine at Walmart for $7.97! The infants come in three color combos, pink, yellow and a mint green. Mine had a pink and white heart shaped fabric pad on the changing stand that assembled quite easily. It came with two bottles, the babys diaper with velcro fasteners, and the soft baby. The race of the baby in my egg that I picked up I am assuming is AA or Indian? Very adorable with sleeping eyes. Goes really well with my AA Poppy Parker and my AA Barbies.

So very very tiny and realistic! Look at the details on her hands and feet!

Brochure inside tells about all of them you can collect. They are so adorable!

More Mini Brands!

I made a run to Target this weekend and picked up more Mini Brands! I only got one or two replicas.

All of these items you see on the table in front of Tammy came out of the two

round eggs below. There are five items in each plastic ball/egg. 

I also stocked my shelves with the previous Little Shop and Mini Brands, the cabinets look well stocked now. I am thinking of collecting enough for a small mom and pop grocery store . The Comic Book store that I was working on has kind of stalled and I could always interchange the store shelves with signage and furniture until I get all of my Big Bang characters together.  I will have to take photos of that diorama/ store and have been wanting to do something with it. The door and windows would just have to be finished but that would be a good project to do one weekend, now that it is warm. 

Plus, the dolls need somewhere to shop for food. lol.
