On this day, remember it is about more than going to the beach or burgers on the grill. I sometimes like to stop and think of the long history of my family, and the members & my ancestors, as far back as the American Revolution, the Civil War, World War l & ll, Korea, Vietnam, and more recently Desert Storm and the Iraq war. What saddens me is that many people forget what our forefathers gave up and endured so we can have the freedoms we take for granted so often.
