Wedding cake in 1:6 scale with Pink Roses

This is another tiered stacked 1:6 scale wedding cake I created only this time with two single pink roses, with leaves. The white wedding cake had more roses. I have wanted to do more complicated wedding cakes, am still looking for the supplies or ornaments like the wedding cake toppers or experimenting on creating my own to do those.

More 16 scale Cake creations!

I have been working on more 1:6 scale cakes, some of which are listed in my Ebay store Pumpkin Hill Studios   Click on the link and it will take you directly to my Doll Food category as I have been busy! I will be attempting to get these new cakes listed as soon as possible.

I had created a larger cake with four roses, that is frosted, -

This morning, I have finished some lovely pink and yellow cakes.

There are two types of pink- dusty rose and pale pink, frosted on top with pink roses and leaves, each on a pink doily. The dusty rose cakes are on a matching darker rose doily. The pale pink rose cakes are on paler pink doilies.

The two yellow cakes with yellow roses and leaves I thought turned out really splendid - they look so ready for spring or a tea party. I think these will look really darling on a tea table or garden tea table.
I attempted to do a different spin on my shamrock cakes. Not sure I am that pleased with them.

I wanted to do a replica green fondant with a white shamrock cookie type on top, with white icing around the edges. Sort of like you would see in the supermarket cases. I might go back on these and jazz them up with sprinkles or white glitter.
Enjoy! Hope to make more in other colors soon!

New 1:6 scale miniature cakes- What I have been working on!

I have been busily working on some new miniature fashion doll cakes- at the end of the year I went through all of my clays and supplies and decided to create more miniature food. I have sadly neglected my creative outlets, and I have missed working with my clay projects. This past week I turned out some new cakes!

First up, are the Valentine's day cakes. I loved how they turned out. I have

thought of adding some glitter to the pink cookies on top, but might just leave them simple. Poppy looks so adorable with her cake table dressed in pink.

Next up, of course, is St. Patrick's Day!

I love using my vintage repro Holiday hostess Barbie for this set up. She is one of my favorite dolls for showcasing my St. Patrick's day creations.

Next up, are some Christmas cakes!

The Christmas Tree cakes were something I did on a whim. And I had the vintage Barbie I purchased at a show last year with the Christmas trees on her sweater, it was just an inspiration that turned out perfectly!! Back from caroling for coffee and cake!!
I have been thinking of doing a doll show with a table of miniature foods for dolls in different scales, not just for 1:6 scale, but also for Tonner and Gene as well. Some of my friends have encouraged me to get back to the show scene, now that's under new management here in my state. And I would do more than cakes, lol. All for now, more photos to come soon. Lisa
