New 1:6 scale miniature cakes- What I have been working on!

I have been busily working on some new miniature fashion doll cakes- at the end of the year I went through all of my clays and supplies and decided to create more miniature food. I have sadly neglected my creative outlets, and I have missed working with my clay projects. This past week I turned out some new cakes!

First up, are the Valentine's day cakes. I loved how they turned out. I have

thought of adding some glitter to the pink cookies on top, but might just leave them simple. Poppy looks so adorable with her cake table dressed in pink.

Next up, of course, is St. Patrick's Day!

I love using my vintage repro Holiday hostess Barbie for this set up. She is one of my favorite dolls for showcasing my St. Patrick's day creations.

Next up, are some Christmas cakes!

The Christmas Tree cakes were something I did on a whim. And I had the vintage Barbie I purchased at a show last year with the Christmas trees on her sweater, it was just an inspiration that turned out perfectly!! Back from caroling for coffee and cake!!
I have been thinking of doing a doll show with a table of miniature foods for dolls in different scales, not just for 1:6 scale, but also for Tonner and Gene as well. Some of my friends have encouraged me to get back to the show scene, now that's under new management here in my state. And I would do more than cakes, lol. All for now, more photos to come soon. Lisa
