And a last photo of our little angel, Fluffy, with our Easter basket from last year. Sadly, our little darling passed away on February 13th this year and has been gone for two months now. My husband and I are heartbroken over this loss as she was so very dear to us. She was our great joy and helped so much with my husband's recovery with his recent health issues.

New 1:6 scale Easter "Peeps" Cakes and a Commission

I have some new cakes to share that I have created, as well as a commission I created for a friend who needed table gifts for the upcoming GAW Convention. She wanted my Easter Egg 'Nest' cakes, and below is a photo of the finished project. 

 

She needed 9 cakes for the nine guests at her table. I made three of each color, pink, yellow and blue. 
   

I also created some new Easter cakes, with Easter "Peeps" Chicks in a little nest like the eggs, only like the candy Peeps. I am also going to try for a chocolate bunny on top of the cake. Still experimenting with that.

I am a little late as we spent most of yesterday having friends and family over for dinner and entertaining yesterday, and it was a lot of work, but fun. We had a huge turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, bread, fruit, deviled eggs, and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious since we were all ill at Christmas and couldn't get together then and so celebrating at Easter was the answer for us all. 

Here are some of the photos of our Easter table and our Easter egg tree that we do every year, in memory of my mother. I also did some new photos of the Gene dolls celebrating too. I hope everyone had a very Happy Easter!
