New 1:6 scale Easter "Peeps" Cakes and a Commission

I have some new cakes to share that I have created, as well as a commission I created for a friend who needed table gifts for the upcoming GAW Convention. She wanted my Easter Egg 'Nest' cakes, and below is a photo of the finished project.

She needed 9 cakes for the nine guests at her table. I made three of each color, pink, yellow and blue.

I also created some new Easter cakes, with Easter "Peeps" Chicks in a little nest like the eggs, only like the candy Peeps. I am also going to try for a chocolate bunny on top of the cake. Still experimenting with that.

A Few closeups of the peeps that have not yet been placed on new cakes.

Dolly Rollbacks at Walmart!

If you haven't been watching the prices at Walmart, you need to download the App on your phone in the Google Play store or the Apple store - the Walmart App., which allows you to sign up for an account, scan a product and price match.

I picked up the Cutie reveal and a Chelsea today. ALOT Of DOLLS are on sale and clearance, including the Rainbow High Dolls. This scan code comes in Handy!

For instance, the Cutie Reveal Barbie was marked down to $19 and the Chelsea was marked down to $7 . Chelsea was $7, but when I scanned Barbie she was scanning on the Walmart app online at $17.89!!

What many people do not know, is you can price match at the register if the item is lower online then in store, even if it's 'on sale'. In fact, when I got to the register, it was scanning at full price- $24.86!??

I fully intend to go back and get the Panda bear and the grey bear or whatever it is since this is series 1. The rabbit is one of the cutest and she is fully articulated!!

I thought the packaging was adorable and the tube is so useful. She came with 'surprises' that you could open, one was a little heart comb, another was a skirt, another was a little pet- a rabbit of course! and another package had little boots and rabbit ears.  She has a streak of blue in her hair and I have not took off the suit to see her outfit underneath. Really adorable, I love this series. At $17.89 on sale I cannot skip these deals. I have seen they also have a reindeer and others out on the next series.

The Chelsea I got because her outfit is perfect for Halloween. They are killing me with the C helsea series- she is dressed like a tiny hamburger and the dog is wearing a French Fry outfit!! This is so adorable I could not pass it up for $7!!

Her tiny hat is a soda with a straw!! Then she has a ketchup and mustard bottles to carry in one hand. All I need now is a small stand for her. I have a ton of Chelsea items that I want to purchase but I am still strapped from my W Club payments.

Enjoy the steals and deals!

A visit to Target...Glitter Girls

So I have not been in Target for a while. If you go, and , or have already been in the toy aisle, you probably already know that they have switched things up already. You can't disregard any aisle. It took me a while to find the coveted Glitter Girls items that the fashion doll collectors have been posting about on the boards.

The Glitter girls dolls, clothing and accessories are 15-16 inch dolls that are giving Wellie Wishers (American Girl) a run for their money. They fit 16 inch fashion dolls like Tonner, Avant Guarde, Ficon, and BJD'S as well as `12 inch fashion royalty and Poppy Parker and even Barbie dolls great too- the structures like their sweet shop. And they are reasonably priced, too. The sweet shop is something I have been lusting over for a long time now- but at $99.99 I don't have an excess $100 right now.

I had never seen them until today and I have fallen in love with the dolls! the little red haired Poppy is just adorable. They are also reasonably priced too. So these two items are on my list, as well as the shoes. I believe the shoes may fit my 16 inch Soulkid bjd.

Target also has alot of their Barbie items on sale too. They have alot of cute Skipper Babysitter Inc. items as well as the new Chelsea items.

I love the Chelsea in the train and the little playhouse!
The new Toy Story Movie items were out, as well as the Barbie from Toy Story. She is 15.99 and is to be found with the Toy Story items in that toy aisle, which might be considered the boys aisle. Like I said, don't call it the boys aisle or the girls aisle now.

She's articulated!

Target was CHOCK FULL of Toy Story items in all price ranges, from the inexpensive to the really EXPENSIVE....

These were on another aisle near the books, and were priced at 89.99 ....

The new Aladdin Movie items were also out...

I wasn't crazy about any of these, but the Genie might be useful for a weird diorama..his body is not that moveable.

I found alot of cute items and hope this post might be helpful to you too.
