Mini Brands Books Series 2

I love Zuru Mini Brands - recently I purchased one of the Mini Brands Books-

Series 2. These tiny books are adorable and come with different surprises- a teacup, or a cat, a magnifying glass or a lamp. The 2nd series seems to have more  a variety than the first one, and I am glad. My egg had Dracula, a Ronald Dahl book, and an Emma book with a Sherlock Holmes bookmark, and a white teacup and saucer.

The books have actual tiny print/ writing in them.

The books and accessories fit both 1:6 scale dolls like Barbie, Ken and Poppy Parker and Fashion Royalty dolls and Skipper. I have also shown my Madra W club 16 inch fashion doll so you can see the teacup is really sized to fit her too, along with the books, which look like small paperback books in her hands.

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July! One of my favorite holidays- mostly because I love the patriotic color combinations of red, white and blue! Also the summer foods associated with the holiday are so much fun to create and cook- hamburgers, hot dogs, fried green tomatoes, potato salad, macaroni salad, deviled eggs, cole slaw, pickles, relishes, fruit salads, watermelon, lemonade, sweet tea, and cake, ice cream, and so on.

Here are some photos from the archives. Have a safe and Happy Fourth of July!

Wedding cake in 1:6 scale with Pink Roses

This is another tiered stacked 1:6 scale wedding cake I created only this time with two single pink roses, with leaves. The white wedding cake had more roses. I have wanted to do more complicated wedding cakes, am still looking for the supplies or ornaments like the wedding cake toppers or experimenting on creating my own to do those.
