2 New Barbie Hallmark Ornaments have arrived!

I have had two more Hallmark Barbie ornaments arrive, they are quite nice.

I found both of these on Mercari, at reasonable prices. Once is 2012 Celebration Happy Holidays Barbie. I was not too pleased at how it was shipped in a green bean flimsy container wrapped in tyvek envelopes , flimsy food boxes I really have a problem when sellers ship nice collectibles in them. Luckily , it came through ok. I went ahead and left them four stars (which they were not happy with and let me know- saying "I wasn't nice" and I rated them as soon I got it, saying thank you, ) however the seller told me Karma would - 'get me' . I wish my buyers would rate me that quickly when I used clean boxes.

The next ornament was 2015 Hallmark Shopping Barbie. This seller sent in a double wrapped bubble mailer, no problems with that, clean, wrapped well shipped promptly.

I will have more photos coming soon of more ornaments as I am planning a pink tabletop Barbie tree this year, so stay tuned!

VA Fashion Doll Club Meeting October 12, 2025

The VA. Fashion Doll club had their October meeting on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, yesterday and it was held at our member Jodie's home. Jodie always goes all out for Halloween, which is fun. This year our presentation was to do a display for Halloween/ Trick or Treat from your childhood. We also brought our pink pumpkin buckets to exchange candy treats.

I made a French tourtierre (beef/ pork pie) for refreshments at the club meeting served with dijon & regular mustard, and ketchup conditments

These were our refreshments/ for lunch, we had a very wide assortment.
Below are some of the decorations throughout Jodie's home-

The presentation given was on Pedigree Sindy dolls, the fashion doll of the United Kingdom. Jody has a HUGE collection!

Jodie's collection was impressive on Sindy, and she had set up two collapsible shelf units in her living room alongside a table to house all of the dolls and the accessories she had collected over a ten year period. Most of us collect Tammy , the USA equivalent of Sindy. But we agreed that Sindy was a must have for a fashion doll vintage collector- especially the fabulous furniture!

Now- onto the breath taking part- Jodie's doll room!

Jodie's room is small but it contains a small bed in an aclove, as well as a large comfy chair in the middle of the room . Her desk is against the wall and shelves enclosed with doors have rows and rows of vintage dolls on stands in different vintage outfits. More dolls are in clear boxes from Collectible Warehouse that she sticks to the wall with velcro as you can see with the Kens in the different mod outfits! and as well, her collection of foldable houses and playsets. I adore her Barbie Hallmark ornament Christmas tree, so adorable. She truly has used every spare access of space and it is amazing, up to the dolls on ski lift seats suspended from the ceiling, with their skis in vintage and mod outfits.
I hope you enjoy the photos from this meeting! Lisa
