August flew by and now September is almost gone too- Fall is here! This weekend was the Richmond Doll & Teddy Bear show which I worked the registration table for the promoter, Van Davis. Alot of my friends from the Va. Fashion doll club had tables as dealers and a couple from the Dorothy Coleman doll club had a table or two as well. Next year the show will be held at the Keystone Truck & Tractor Museum on September 18th, 2027, 9:30-3:00pm . The new location is : 880 W. Roslyn Road, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 I have heard great things about the location from a member in the Dorothy Coleman club who helped Van scope the location out and the event promoter from the museum came to the show and was meeting with Van to help with the details on the contracts for next year and also to help promote the show. It also has free parking, as well as a wonderful museum and a great restuarant. I am looking forward to it as the American Legion is a rather small venue, though it is close to home.
My new acquisition is one that has been hard to acquire without spending a small fortune- 2018 Happy Holidays 30TH Anniversary Barbie. I got her on Ebay on an auction for $25 because her box was damaged and snagged her at that highest bid, very lucky- she usually goes for a much higher amount.
